We only used the hostel as a place to freshen up before our flight, so I can't speak to the beds. The ladies' main bathroom was much cleaner than the pretty grim dorm bathroom, and it had a western toilet and toilet paper. The central location was handy, with some good restaurants nearby. Staff were really friendly and attentive. We spent the wait for our room in the attached cafe: cute decor and good food, though the coffee wasn't great and prices felt a bit high for India. Hostel guests get 20% off food and free chai from 5 to 7pm. There are plenty of books and a few board games, with air conditioning in the cafe and fans elsewhere. I'd come back, and maybe sleep here next time.

Staff were friendly and flexible. When we checked out on day three, they let us keep using the lockers and lounge until we left, and even offered a room switch because of Jaipur's heat and the lack of A/C in one dorm. The dorm and shared areas were clean and kept up well, and they cleaned on request too. We spent two days in a four-bed dorm. It looked old, a bit shabby, and was on the small side, but for the price it was in pretty good shape. There were only two of us in it, so it didn't feel crowded; a full room might be cramped. The cafe food was very good, with English, American, and Mexican options, though it's on the expensive side.

The staff were the best part for us. One of them spent about an hour and a half helping us book a train to Agra, trying different sites and even letting us use his accounts on several bus and train platforms. That kind of help really makes a difference, and we'd stay here again for sure. The beds were comfortable, everything was clean, and the location worked well, either a short tuk-tuk ride or a medium-length walk from Pink City.

I was in Jaipur for eight nights. The A/C, water, and accommodation were all good, but I most regretted not finding a place with better people and atmosphere. You can get breakfast or dinner for 200 per person per day, and drinking water is available. There's also a cafe called Step Out. I tried a few things there and wasn't impressed by either the price or the quality.
