Kanchan Kesari Village Resort

In an emergency, I asked to use the washroom at Kanchan Kesari Resort, Jaipur, and the security guard flatly refused. He was very rude, and being denied access in that situation felt humiliating and deeply upsetting. A resort shows its values through its staff. Emergency washroom access is generally expected as a matter of basic hospitality and public norms in India. I hope management takes this seriously, trains the staff, and makes sure nobody else has to face the same lack of empathy and basic courtesy.

I've been to Kanchan Kesari twice with a colleague and enjoyed both visits. On the first, we spent the whole day playing cricket and sitoliya, which was a lot of fun. The second time we had traditional Rajasthani food for lunch. Staff looked after everyone well, and the service was good. The raita was so tasty I had two bowls. I'd recommend going for lunch or dinner.

The staff behaved badly, the amenities were poor, and the service was very bad. This was my first visit to Kanchan Kesari Resort Jaipur and it will be my last. There are plenty of other options, so don't waste your money here.

The New Year party was awful. The DJ was bad, there were no good activities, and the place had no party atmosphere. Dinner was plain and not at all fancy for what we paid. I wasted my 31st evening and won't consider going back unless they make real changes. Getting there is a hassle too. You need to take an underpass well before the property, but there's no sign or board, so it's easy to miss. Then you have to go about 5 km ahead to find a cut or divider. The property information also isn't properly updated. The caretakers need to get things moving and make better use of the main road location. So far, it seems the owner isn't interested in keeping up with the times.
