KK Royal Hotel & Convention Centre

The pool was being renovated while we were there, unfortunately. The hotel itself is very nice, and the rooms were clean and lovely. Breakfast is a buffet, with fresh omelettes made the way you like them, just without bacon. Dinner costs 1400 Rupies per person for the buffet, around 14€. We found it better to eat at a local restaurant outside, where Butter Curry Chicken and drinks cost around 700-800 Rupies.

We spent four nights and five days here. It’s a beautiful, well-kept property, and our clean, comfortable room was medium-sized. The large window and sitting area were a highlight, with a peaceful view of the Aravali hills and the fort. The staff were polite and helpful, and most requests were handled promptly. They didn’t acknowledge our anniversary request from the booking, which was a small letdown for a five-star hotel, though not a deal breaker. The location made sightseeing easy. It’s near Amer Fort, with easy access to Nahargarh, and Jaipur city is about 30 minutes away. There’s also an Elephant Village nearby that I highly recommend. The elephant ride was beautiful and memorable. Our package included two meals a day. Breakfast had limited options and was average, while the dinner buffet fell short in variety, flavour, and presentation. Perhaps low occupancy played a part, but it didn’t feel five-star. Staff kindly offered à la carte meals at no extra charge, though the food still didn’t appeal to us and we skipped two dinners. There aren’t extra activities, so the property didn’t really feel like a resort. Elephant rides, games, or other experiences could make it more engaging. For us, it was a solid four-star stay. Better food and more for guests to do would make this a very good place to stay and relax.

From our balcony, the view of Amer Fort was stunning and hard to beat in this segment. Manager Ajay was especially cooperative and kept everything running smoothly, while the whole staff were polite and attentive and made us feel valued. We had an amazing stay at KK Royal Hotel, Jaipur. It offers a great mix of comfort, location, and value for money for a Jaipur staycation.

The shower doors are open, so water gets all over the floor and it’s easy to slip, making the bathroom inconvenient to use. At check-in, the desk staff misled us and tried to convince us our twin bed was a queen. They offered a bigger room the next day, but we were out, and that didn’t make up for the experience. We’d paid an expensive rate for a smaller room and got no compensation.
