OYO 16974 Star Leaf

The staff treated us well, and the hospitality and service were the best. Thank you.

This is a different hotel, not Oyo 11923 Hotel Star Leaf. My family was left out in the cold when the receptionist first refused us entry, even though we'd booked for two days. We only got a room after repeatedly asking, and it was in worse shape than the receptionist's attitude: the sheets were torn, the geyser didn't work, and the door latch was missing. The photos show how filthy it was. I had a nightmare of a stay and strongly advise against choosing this place.

There was no lift, and our room on the second floor had no phone extension. The basics were missing or in poor shape: no bucket, a dirty low-quality towel, and unclean sheets. The bathroom geyser didn't work and the door wouldn't close. OYO isn't maintaining this property at all. A very poor stay.

Hard to find, too. Even the tuk-tuk needed help getting there. The staff were nice and found me another hotel, but the experience was terrible. If you're a foreigner, beware: they wouldn't give me a room and turned me away, citing some kind of regulations. It seems foreigners aren't allowed to stay here.
