The rates were reasonable, and I didn’t have to haggle much with reception for a room. The services are basic, but decent for the price. I had two minor issues: the owner’s car arrived and I had to move mine to make room for it by the roadside, and I could faintly hear the bar from inside my room. The noise stopped after eleven.
The rooms are spacious and the location is good, and the receptionist and staff were humble. But the bathroom floor had mud marks and bits of hair, while the bed linen and pillow cover had lots of hair on them, as if they hadn’t been changed. There’s also an in-house pub with very loud music from evening until midnight. People kept shouting even after the music stopped at 12am.
Hotel Imperial was in a handy spot for getting to local attractions, and I had a hassle-free four-day stay. My room was spacious, clean, and well kept. The staff were courteous and attentive throughout, making sure I had what I needed. I’d recommend it for a pleasant stay.
The water was cold, and the door lock kept getting stuck. Sometimes it opened, sometimes it wouldn’t. Very bad service.
We only stayed here overnight while waiting to get into the rooms we’d booked at the club. The rooms are extremely basic, and the towels they gave us were no use, so bring your own towel and toiletries. The staff seemed okay, though we didn’t have much time to use their service. Book only if you have to, otherwise skip it.
