Oyo 9654 Hotel Arco Palace

We spent two days here and had a fantastic stay. The location was easy to reach, the rooms were clean and well kept, and every staff member was cooperative and helpful. There are swimming pools and several games to choose from, including TT, carrom, chess, and pool. The one thing I’d improve is the food quality and breakfast selection. Everything else was good.

A big thank you to Mr Salim at the front desk. He was polite, efficient, and professional. Room service was flawless, and my order arrived piping hot just as requested, except for the tea. I stayed at The ARCO Palace, and its design brings local culture together with modern luxury. The hotel has a real soul, and the staff member is a true asset.

We booked four rooms for two days with the kids and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The rooms, kidszone, and gym get five stars from me, but breakfast gets two. They need to improve the South Indian dishes. There’s a pure veg restaurant downstairs, and the biryani is worth trying. The hotel is next to the Metro station. An auto or taxi to Hawa Mahal costs 50 and is faster than the Metro if you’re visiting nearby. Extra kudos for the free railway station pickup and drop, the massage chair, and the bus to Khatushyamji right outside. Good value for money.

For the price, I had a decent stay. The hotel is near the bus stand and 1 KM from the railway station, with good amenities, tasty restaurant food, attentive staff who tried to sort out our issues, and a free cab drop to the station. The woman at reception in the morning was friendly and gave us a complimentary late checkout. I’d choose a business or suite room. We’d booked two business rooms, but the night shift staff member first gave us a standard room and kept saying it was a business room, even when I questioned him repeatedly. The standard rooms aren’t well maintained and had cockroaches. After we complained and insisted, he moved us to a suite. The hotel needs to pest control the rooms, since there are so many cockroaches.
