This little guesthouse is beautifully decorated and well connected. You can reach places easily, and buses and rickshaws are right at the doorstep. Rates are reasonable for a place that feels more like a guesthouse than a hotel, under 1,500 rupees for a double room in the off season and up to 2,000 during New Year week. It could be a charming boutique hotel, perhaps even charge twice as much, if it were properly cleaned and managed. But there was dust everywhere, the blankets we got were dirty and had no covers, and the open kitchen at the rooftop Indian restaurant was so filthy that we couldn’t eat there during our four-night stay. The property also has a Chinese restaurant and a coffee shop. The refrigerator interior was the dirtiest I’ve ever seen, and I’m including a photo. I’m not trying to be negative, but I hope management sees this and cleans the place up.

We’ve stayed here twice and it felt like our second home. The owner is helpful and reliable, and we enjoyed our morning chats with him. The room was clean, and the bathroom had the essentials. There’s a café next door with room service and good food, perfect for dinner or chocolate waffles. The train and bus stations are a 10-minute walk away. The neighborhood is quiet apart from the cars, as you’d expect in India, and feels safe. We felt at home. Thanks if you’re reading this, and all the best. A few days ago, I stayed in these neat, clean rooms at a great budget price. The staff were lovely and helpful, and the restaurant was a real gem. The food was excellent, portions were huge, presentation was beautiful, and prices were low. I’ll definitely come back. ❤️

The owner is so humble, and this place feels like home. It’s easy to get to all the spots in the city, and I’d stay here again if I return to jaipur. The owner and his wife live here too. Rooms are clean and affordable, and there’s a café and a beautiful restaurant. We felt very safe.
