Fabhotel Shree Villas

We stayed one night and had a great experience. The hosts were welcoming and humble, and there were no red flags. The rooms, linen, furniture, washrooms, and everything else were decent and in good shape.

The location was a highlight, beside a park in a peaceful, quiet neighbourhood, and the price was good. Our room was spacious and lovely, with strong hot water every day, though it was a bit dusty. Service was okay. There were plenty of staff, but most didn’t understand English very well. Food is available at the hotel, but we always ate out, so I can’t comment on it. Laundry is offered too, though it’s sent elsewhere for dry cleaning and got quite expensive with a big load.

The staff seemed friendly, but that didn’t make up for the discomforts. Our cramped room had an uncomfortable bed and unclean bedsheets. The bathroom was outdated and still smelled strange after service. Room service wasn’t proper. Breakfast was ordered from outside and arrived cold, and the dining area looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this disappointing hotel.

This is a converted haveli, and the owners live there. It’s a big no if you want somewhere quiet, since the public park opposite makes it noisy. There are a few good restaurants nearby, and an open parking lot just beside the hotel. The room was good but needed a little cleaning. They’d left a single-bed comforter on the bed, with another in the wardrobe, but that one was very dirty and had clearly been used before.
