Sunflower Saga

The worst part started with the road in. It was broken, filthy, and unsafe, so reaching Hotel Sun Flower Saga felt like a mistake. When I arrived, a man who didn't look like hotel staff handled check-in without a uniform, manners, or professionalism. There was no housekeeping staff available. It was extremely cold, but nobody responded to my request for a heater. We got a thin, useless blanket and spent the whole night shivering and unable to sleep. The rooms were tiny, dirty, and poorly maintained, and service was nonexistent. The landline didn't work, and nobody answered the mobile number listed on the website. At 7:30 AM, the entire hotel was empty, with no receptionist, housekeeping, guard, or anyone else in the building. It felt like an abandoned lodge, and was unsafe and irresponsible. They charge rates like a four-star hotel, yet the facilities weren't even as good as the worst dharamshala. My stay on 4th & 5th December 2025 was beyond horrible, the worst hospitality experience of my life. I can't understand how this place calls itself a hotel. Avoid booking it completely. It's unsafe, mismanaged, unprofessional, and a total waste of money.

The property was good, the people were sweet and helpful, and the food tasted great. What bothered me was how the animals were treated. Please take this as a humble suggestion: treat them as living beings, not props for attraction. A staff member said there used to be 35 rabbits, but they eventually died from some illness and only one remains. Their pet dog, Jacky, is chained all day and whines.

Mr. Ashok was very helpful, and we had an amazing time at Sunflower Saga. We stayed from 31st Jan to 1st Feb. The rooms are spacious and have heaters, though there was some dampness on the walls. A unique experience.

The stay felt like a waste of money and spoiled the quality time we hoped to have. The rooms were very dusty, with dirty walls and peeling paint. The geyser didn't work, and water leaked from the AC. The place seemed poorly maintained, so I wouldn't recommend it unless they make significant improvements.
