I only stayed here briefly, but it was a terrible experience. The room was poor, the AC barely cooled, and both the geyser and flush button were out of order. I had an early flight, but the man on duty locked the main door and went to sleep. I was scared I’d miss my flight. I called the owner, Dr uncle, and got no answer either. It felt like he puts effort into marketing for more customers but not into making sure they’re satisfied. Please look for somewhere else to stay.

A great homestay, with all the facilities and a homely feel.

We picked up the idea of a peaceful place surrounded by nature at short notice, and Upchar homestay turned out to be a wonderful choice. The staff were lovely, the facilities and service were outstanding, and it felt safe, with luxurious rooms available. I’d happily go back for a longer stay. It’s a place I really recommend for an evening with friends, colleagues, or family.

The food at UPHAR home stay was really delicious, and the staff were humble. I enjoyed my time there. Dr Madhavi ma'am, the owner, communicates well and is very polite. I’d recommend it to anyone.
