For what we paid, this was a fantastic stay. Om, the welcoming hostel manager, showed us a choice of clean, roomy rooms with balconies. He made a point of chatting with guests, checking that we had what we needed, and joining us in the lovely rooftop lounge in the evenings. The cafe is a bit disorganized, though the workers are flexible, and there are plenty of nice cafes and restaurants nearby. The location is great too, just minutes from market stalls, affordable local places, and pricier international restaurants. The building isn’t the cleanest, but the simple, homely decor makes it feel warm.

Om, the owner, clearly cares about his guests. When my day was getting late, he checked on me over WhatsApp because I was traveling alone, and later we swapped stories over chai. He was very accommodating, and the staff were helpful too. The rooms were clean and welcoming, and the hotel is right in central Jaisalmer. I had a great stay and would highly recommend it.

Om and Abdul were so friendly and took great care of us. We had a great stay at Arya Haveli. They also arranged a wonderful desert trip for us. The top terrace is a brilliant spot to relax with a cold drink and listen to some good music. Recommended!

The rooms are simple, not haveli style, but among the best you’ll find at this budget. I’d booked two nights and could only stay one, and the owner kindly changed the booking and charged me for just the night I used. The food at arya haveli was basic but tasty. The rooftop cafe is lovely, with fairy lights and music, and you can choose your own songs. The owner was soft-spoken, well mannered, and personally attentive, while the staff were cooperative. Tourist spots are an easy walk away, and the famous restaurant The Trio is just across the lane.

The owner was so welcoming and happy to meet people and share what he knows about music. There’s a Bluetooth speaker you can use as much as you like. We stayed three nights, and the room was clean and the food really tasty.
