Hotel Golden Haveli

Mr. Amir Khan from reservations deserves special thanks. He was humble and supportive, handled everything smoothly and professionally, and his dedication reflected the hotel’s high hospitality standards. We also loved the delicious, well-prepared food. Hotel Golden Haveli has a beautiful heritage feel and is very well maintained. The staff were polite, helpful, and professional, which made our stay comfortable and memorable. The hotel, service, staff, and cooking were all outstanding. I highly recommend Hotel Golden Haveli to anyone visiting Jaisalmer.

The manager Askar was the highlight. He seemed to be everywhere, personally looking after us and the other guests. We started calling the place “Hotel Askar Havelibecause of how present and dedicated he was! The property is beautiful, clean, grand, and has a royal look and feel. The whole team was professional and genuinely awesome, with many staff from hotel management and even aerospace backgrounds. A memorable stay with friends at Hotel Golden Haveli in Jaisalmer, highly recommended!

The location made it easy to get to attractions, restaurants, and transport. The facilities were excellent, with a well-kept pool, a modern fitness center, and a delicious breakfast with lots of choice. My room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully designed, with a very comfortable bed and all the amenities thoughtfully provided. Check-in was quick and smooth, and the welcoming, professional staff were incredibly helpful. What stood out most was the outstanding service, they went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. I had a wonderful stay and would gladly return. Highly recommend this hotel for comfort, quality, and service.

Breakfast was a real letdown. There was very little choice and no Rajasthani delicacies, which surprised me for a heritage property in Jaisalmer. The 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM breakfast window felt too restrictive for a vacation, and the 10:00 AM checkout added to the inconvenience. I also found visible eggshell or crust in my omelette, a sign of poor kitchen quality control. The staff came across as uninterested in guest comfort or good service. They were rude and blunt, and didn’t make an effort to improve our experience or respond politely to concerns. My family and I recently stayed at Golden Haveli, Jaisalmer, but it fell short, especially given the premium rates. Room prices were much higher than the quality of the rooms, linen, and amenities justified, and the linen didn’t feel up to the standard of a luxury or heritage stay. The whole experience felt overpriced and underwhelming. Better staff training, food, timing flexibility, and attention to guests could help, but as it stands, the property doesn’t justify its cost. I hope this feedback is taken constructively and helps improve future stays.
