Hotel Paradise

We only ate here, so I can’t comment on the rooms. The meal was poor: our plain roti, paneer masala, and pulao were all oily, tasteless, and seemed unhygienic. At the rooftop restaurant inside Jaisalmer Fort, one staff member, I’m not sure whether he was the owner or an employee, was shockingly rude and arrogant (photo attached). We politely said we were tourists and asked for food suggestions, but he snapped that we shouldn’t waste his time and should order quickly. That attitude is unacceptable, especially in a tourist-heavy spot like Jaisalmer Fort. The place lacks basic hospitality, respect for customers, and food quality, so I strongly don’t recommend this restaurant to visitors to Jaisalmer.

The staff were great, and so were the location, room, and service. The best category is the heritage room, which has a balcony with an excellent view. The hotel is run by Rajasthani brahmins, so they won’t serve or allow nonveg food, apart from eggs.

The rooftop café was a highlight of our stay at Paradise Hotel inside Jaisalmer Fort. We really liked the food, and the view from up there made it even better. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the friendly staff were always ready to help. It was a peaceful, enjoyable place for couples. We had a great stay and highly recommend it.

Manish and his father were genuinely caring, polite, and humble. We arrived before check-in time, and they quickly arranged a spare room so my family could be comfortable. Manish also helped plan our whole 2-night, 3-day itinerary, including the desert camp stay, and everything was well organized. The staff were warm and helpful too. Our driver bhaiya, Jasu, made sightseeing memorable with his cheerful nature and comfortable drives to Kuldhara Village, Tanot Mata Temple, and Longewala Post. He even took us to the railway station late at night for free. Hotel Paradise Palace has a real heritage feel, since it’s right inside Jaisalmer Fort. The terrace looks out over the golden city from above, with a lovely evening breeze. The food was outstanding, and every meal was delicious and freshly prepared. Our stay was fantastic, with comfort, heritage, and hospitality all together. I’d recommend it to families looking for an authentic, budget-friendly stay in Jaisalmer. Even if you don’t stay there, try their food. It’s among the best in town.
