The Desert Palace

The hotel has spacious, clean rooms and a great ambience. The staff were polite and the hospitality was lovely. We especially enjoyed the restaurant, where Megha was awesome to talk with and Rahman took great care of us. Thanks as well to Subrata and Ishak for their kind gestures. One thing to check, though, is the lizards’ nests all around the hotel. Thanks, skk the fren, for a lovely stay.

The rooms were clean and really good, and the food was excellent. We especially enjoyed eating at the restaurant. Megha always greeted us with a smile and looked after us personally, and Rahman did the same. We chatted a little with Arpit, Ishak, Neeraj, Sunil, Harsh, Mahesh, Nikhil, Khalil, Rajanish, Subrata, Dushyant, Priyanka and Prateek. They were all polite and humble. A mention too for Rudra, the South Indian chef in the morning.

The washroom in our room had a very bad smell, which was the main issue. The rest of the stay was decent: the food was good, especially breakfast, and service was fine. Megha was attentive and hospitable, and Nandkishore in housekeeping and Rudra, the South Indian chef, deserve a mention. Everyone else was polite too.

Megha deserves a special thank you for making my stay comfortable and memorable. She was courteous, paid attention to the details, and handled each request efficiently with a warm smile. The whole team at SKK Fern Jaisalmer made me feel welcome from arrival, and the property was well cared for, with a pleasant ambience and strong service. I appreciated the hospitality and would recommend SKK Fern to friends and family visiting Jaisalmer. Please pass on my thanks to Megha and the team.
