10/10
Business travelers seem to value how close Ginger Kalinganagar is to the industrial gates, and the location gets a 4.4/5. At the restaurant, Cafe Et Cetera, guests mention the good local comfort food, with Chef Mukti often praised for his cooking. Staff are described as polite and attentive, especially Sasmita at the front desk and Susanta in dining. It’s a 3-star hotel in Jajpur’s industrial area, popular with people visiting nearby plants like Tata Steel and JSL. Across major booking sites, its average rating is around 3.8/5 to 4.1/5.

Everything else is great, but the location is the problem. There isn’t even a place nearby to get tea, so you’re stuck with the hotel’s limited menu for food.

The food was lovely, lightly spiced, not oily, and served in just the right portions. Rooms were excellent, and the stay felt very neat. It was reasonably priced too. Definitely recommend staying here.

The food tasted fine, but it costs way too much and the service moves very slowly.

The food was really good, and Subhadra was very cordial. Service was excellent.
