Hotel Kamal Palace

We left the Upside Down New Year celebration feeling unsafe and unheard. Zoka’s name and hotel Kamal’s name were tied to the event, and because Zoka is considered one of the most reputed places, we booked passes online through Sort My Scene expecting things to be safe and well managed. Instead, around 8-10 boys tried to start a fight with us, just one man and two women. Security didn't respond for at least 5-6 minutes, even though things could have got much worse. My wife asked me to request a refund because we felt unsafe and had to leave immediately. We'd paid more than ₹12,000 for three people, but staff showed no concern that we had to leave early. Afterwards, we tried to report the incident to the manager, but no official or responsible person was available. The only person there was someone at the entry gate, who said he would give us another space. We got no proper explanation, support, or apology. We're requesting a refund, and management can check the CCTV footage. The lack of security, poor crowd control, and nobody from management being there made this shocking and unacceptable, especially given Zoka’s and Hotel Kamal's reputations.

The food and other amenities are fine, but I have one question. Can a restaurant charge 185 rs for a water bottle marked MRP 117 rs, and 145 rs for a Coke marked MRP 40 rs? Please reply.

The hall looked beautiful with its flowers and lights, and the hotel's warm, welcoming ambience made our family functions memorable. We stayed at Kamal Palace for three days in January 2025 with our family guests. Everyone had an awesome time, and we'll definitely choose Kamal Palace for future family events. The food was delicious, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and cooperative. House help and room service were punctual and efficient.

A very beautiful hotel, and the staff are extremely cooperative. It's a 5 star hotel!
