I was here for a business trip, and the service made for a very disappointing stay. There wasn't proper hot water, and basic toiletries were missing or not replenished. Housekeeping was hard to reach: when we called, staff either didn't respond properly or put the phone aside without sorting out the problem. They even asked for extra payment for basic room service items like cutlery. The facilities and service fell below what I'd expect from even a basic roadside place, and management needs to improve both service and customer support.

During my two-day stay at the President Hotel in Jalandhar, which began on November 1, 2025, I unknowingly ate non-vegetarian kebabs after they were labeled as “veg-kebabs.” I'm vegetarian, and this violated my religious and dietary principles. The staff gave only a superficial apology and acted as though this breach of trust and food standards was normal. Their disregard for separating vegetarian and non-vegetarian food under FSSAI guidelines was deeply upsetting. This was a serious food safety failure, not just poor service, and I had a very, very bad experience with this irresponsible, non-compliant hotel.

I loved the kitchen, and everything was very clean. The food was fresh and delicious, truly outstanding. Staff were courteous and professional, and the service was excellent. One of the best hotels in Punjab, in my view. I highly recommend it to everyone, including my visitors. Whenever you visit, be sure to stay here.
