OYO 1732 Hotel The days Inn

The location stood out, with several cafes and restaurants on the ground floor giving plenty of food options. I visited for the first time recently and it was better than expected. There are many rooms, the lobby and gallery areas are spacious, the rooms are quite large, and the staff are accommodating.

The food was good, and the internal layout looks nice at first. But the room had stains on the coffee table, a broken bathroom door that wouldn't close, and a broken handle. Mold was everywhere, in the bathroom and in the main sleeping area. I raised it with the manager, who said they were working on it, but this is a hazard that needs fixing as soon as possible. The lights and fans worked only when they felt like it, there were rats, and the geyser gave only a few minutes of hot water before going cold. Free Wi-Fi was listed as an amenity, but it was only accessible at reception, not in the rooms. The staff need to dust and clean better and check for stains on tables, sheets, and curtains. I watched them clean and had to ask them to redo things. When I tried to get a new room because of the mold, the manager said she'd check, then never came back. She seemed to think her phone call was more important than the customers. Housekeeping should check, clean, and make up rooms daily without being asked. They didn't clean the bathrooms, just replaced the soap. This was the stay we had, but I don't plan to come back.

I was there as part of a wedding group, and the staff seemed a bit unsure about which rooms were booked and assigned. Apart from that, there wasn't much trouble and things were good. Their tea is amazing by hotel standards. The hotel is around 3km from the railway station, and I had a good experience overall.

The rooms were pathetic and unhygienic, and the atmosphere didn't feel suitable or safe for a family. When I went with my family, people were openly drinking and roaming all over the hotel. We had to rush out.
