OYO 36231 Hotel New York Inn

I came from Mumbai and stayed seven days. The room was very small, the beds were broken and hard to sleep on, and there was no bathroom light. The Wi-Fi was very poor except on the second floor. I found the service bad, and the manager and senior staff were rude, though the other workers were kind and humble. The pricing made me feel cheated. I was told the room price had changed from around 1k. I wouldn't order food here either. The in-room menu listed a dish at 120 rs, but reception first said the price had changed, then said the new menu still showed 120 rs but that was only for a half plate. After I agreed, the receptionist called again and said it cost 220 rs. Please don't visit, there are better hotels nearby.

The location is excellent, but the rooms are tiny and in poor shape, so you may be disappointed if you expect much for the price. It’s an average place for a night in the city. The staff weren't very welcoming. When my sister complained that the blanket was ripped, one staff member said, “ab kya inko naya blanket denge?”

Everything was just okay, including the non-vegetarian dinner I ordered for the room. The towel in the bathroom had a red mark and hadn't been washed properly. Room rates should come down a bit.

I got there around 10 at night, and only one person was available to help me find my room. They provided car parking and a geyser. The bed wasn't comfortable and I slept poorly, but it was fine for a one-night stay.
