OYO 9927 Hotel Prakash INN

The rooms and washroom were okay, but the room service was poor. Bedsheets and towels weren’t changed daily, and the towels were so old I wouldn’t even use them on my legs. Food quality was below average for the price, and the service was awful. Staff were harsh, unethical, and quick to argue. They wouldn’t listen to complaints and kept pushing us to give the hotel five stars on OYO, though I don’t think it deserves even three. The photos are attractive, but don’t be guided by them. I tried staying a second time, hoping things had improved, but they hadn’t. A total waste of money. Better to look for another nearby hotel.

The staff were very helpful, room service was quite good, and they were willing to help with requests. We booked two rooms near Jalandhar city junction, and both were nice, though one bathroom needed better upkeep. The AC cooled the rooms slowly, and the TV didn’t work. My ratings: rooms 3.5/5, bathrooms 3.5/5, cleanliness and hygiene 4/5, staff and service 5/5.

We were three people and chose an AC room for 992. The room was fully clean, and the bathroom was excellent, with a towel, soap, body moisturizer, and body wash. RO water was provided, so that was the final price. The staff were well behaved and quick to help. They say they offer Wi-Fi, but it didn’t work and showed “Wi-Fi has no internet connection.” For the price, this is the finest hotel in Jalandhar.

The room they gave us was the last one on the second floor, and it was filthy, smelled bad, and had rainwater around the wall. The bedsheets were dirty too, despite the amount charged being for a five-star room. I think the person running this hotel is a liar. Don’t fall for his trap.
