OYO 62748 Hotel Zeenat

This place was filthy, and they didn't even provide pillows. The staff were rude and tried to scam me, which they did. If zero stars were an option, that's what I'd give. It shouldn't be called a hotel or listed anywhere. Don't stay here.

Getting to the temples, gurudwara, market, and bus stop for Bahu Fort was easy, but that was about the only good thing. The hotel is tucked away in a poor area, and we booked because it appeared to be 1.8 km from Jammu railway station and had good reviews. We later felt those reviews were fake. We were on a Kashmir family trip with small children and luggage, arriving after a 7-8 hour drive from Shringaar before our 5:45 am train. It turned into a nightmare: our rooms had been given to someone else, and the few rooms left were shabby and dirty. When we asked for the room and bathroom to be cleaned, staff asked what more we expected and said we should go to Radinson if we wanted a clean room for 8k a day. They also refused to take our luggage up from reception, telling us to carry it ourselves. There were no toiletries, hand shower, or mug. After we asked, they gave us a shabby towel and used toiletries that had been repacked. The bathroom had used soap and shampoo repacked too. There was no heater or heated blanket in 0 degree weather, and just one shabby blanket for three people. The rooms were poor, staff were stubborn and spoke badly to guests, and the whole experience was awful. I wouldn't book here.

Mr. Shehnaz Ahmad, Advocate, the owner of Zeenat Hotel, was very pleasant and interacted with guests really well. Mr. Mujeeb, the manager, was nice too. The place felt clean and hygienic, the rooms were excellent, and the basement parking was excellent as well. It seems built with modern technology. I'd give it more than five stars if I could, and recommend visiting Zeenat Hotel.

I booked through the oyo app for Rs 645, but once I got to Zeenat hotel they said that price didn't include AC. They blamed oyo and I ended up paying 1200 for the same room, just for half an hour. I was thinking about filing an FIR, but didn't have much time. I'd give zero stars if I could. Anyone planning to book here, don't go, they just loot you.
