Hotel Rivera Jamnagar Residency by OYO Rooms

The location is good, staff are cooperative, and the breakfast selection was reasonably okay. Food preparation was satisfactory too. The deluxe rooms are only below satisfactory because their attached bathrooms are extremely small, with barely any room to move around.

The rooms were nice, and once inside the hotel it felt good, though the building entrance isn't very welcoming. Cleanliness needs more attention, and the food and service could be improved. The staff were cordial and the service was good. A nice budget-friendly hotel.

The place was filthy, from the dustbin and doormat to the dirty linen. I asked the front desk to change the sheets, but he said no staff were available. I told him I couldn't sleep on such a dirty bed and would leave unless he gave me clean sheets, and then he changed them. We were a senior couple and had to carry our own bags up to the fourth floor, even though there's a lift, because the entrance is a little way inside the street. Only two small soap bars and shampoo sachets were provided as toiletries. I wouldn't recommend this place.

There are two good things: the laundry service, if you get quarantined there, and the view of Lakhota Talav from the family rooms across from it. Not every room has that view, and even in those bigger rooms no sunlight gets in. The staff service was awful. The person washing the toilets also served meals with bare hands, without gloves or other gear, and I got sick. Staff weren't friendly and acted as if serving you was a favor. I wouldn't give this place even one star. It was that bad.
