There’s a dormitory option, but every room is upstairs on the first floor and there’s no lift, so you’ll need to use the stairs. The caretaker is very kind and can always be reached by phone. The place is easy to get to, near the main road from Andawa Tiraha, and buses run there too. For Maha Khumb, though, it felt a bit far away. Food nearby could be hard to find, since there’s only one hotel close by. Bring mosquito repellent, as there can be a lot of mosquitoes.

We only needed somewhere to stay overnight, and the guest house did the job. The staff were polite and friendly, and the washrooms were clean enough. The rooms were okay, with open-air parking available, though there’s no security there. Electricity was an issue. Staff wouldn’t switch on the generator unless asked, and the geyser doesn’t work when it’s running. I didn’t try the food, so I can’t say anything about it. The place is on the outskirts of Prayagraj, basically in a village, and there’s no transport to get there unless you have your own vehicle. Oyo may have put its name on the guest house only for as long as Kumbha Mela lasts.

With all the greenery and fresh air, it’s a peaceful, comfortable place to stay. The AMRIT GUEST HOUSE Powered by OYO, 266 SewaDham, Gram Durjanpur, Andawa Bypass, Post Office Jhusi, Prayagraj (Allahabad) 211019 Uttar Pradesh India.. is very good. You should stay there sometime. Thank you.

I own this Ashram cum Hotel powered by OYO, and I want to thank everyone who has chosen to stay with us. I’m sorry to those who had minor problems during their stay. We’re in a remote, outlying area, so handling everyday needs can be difficult. With what we have available, we do our best to serve guests and treat everyone like family, helping however we can. I’m especially grateful to my property manager Aman Sharma. He’s helpful, humble, polite, and educated, and I feel I chose the right person to run things. Thank you so, so much.
