Namaste Caffe

After a day of sightseeing, my husband and I stopped at this lovely rooftop café for two cold beers and delicious paneer and mixed veg pakoras, with a view of the fort. The owner and staff were so friendly that we came back for breakfast the following day. The masala chai was amazing, the lassi yummy, and the masala omelettes were cooked and spiced just right. What a great find. I highly recommend it.

We stayed several nights and found this one of our nicest homestays in India. The location worked well for sightseeing, and the fort was an easy walk up the hill. The owner was kind and helped book our bus ticket for the next stop. The family running the rooftop café were lovely to chat with, and the rooftop and common areas had a fantastic, unobstructed fort view. Our room was very large, as was the bathroom. The decor made it feel like we were in Jodhpur rather than just in a room. The AC worked well and the hot water tank was okay. There were some stains on the towels and sheets, though they still felt clean. The heavy top blanket had no sheet underneath, so we wondered if it had been washed between guests, but it felt clean as well. We’d recommend this place to anyone visiting Jodhpur.

The hotel owner and everyone there were so kind. My train was at 5:00 in the morning, and they got up early to make the arrangements I needed. The fort view from the hotel was amazing, as were the food, drinks, and everything else. I’ll be sure to share my experience. Anyone coming to Jodhpur should stay here for a great experience. A relaxed atmosphere and wonderful views, with the blue city on one side and the fort on the other, make this a great spot for dinner. It’s a family-run restaurant right in Blue city, with amazing, freshly prepared food at very affordable prices. The owner is also the cook and clearly understands flavours and spices.
