OYO 16169 Sahdev Guest House

The service was very good, especially from Mr Bhoom Singh, and the hotel itself is good. We had no hot water on the second day, though. The only unpleasant part was being asked five times to leave a review and give a 5Star rating.

I had arrived at midnight after a long drive, and my wife and child were exhausted. Since Oyo had already taken full payment, I felt I had no real choice but to accept the room they gave us. It was only 12 x 10, even though the pictures showed something different, and they said every other room was booked. I’ll post pictures later. For the same price, I strongly recommend finding another property where you can get a clean, larger room.

The room had blood stained linen, tobacco stains on the walls and red tobacco marks on the curtains. The electrical wiring was faulty, and the AC was so noisy I kept thinking it might explode. The management and receptionist were rude. This place is listed on Oyo, but after you book in the app and arrive, they reject the booking, saying the tariff you paid isn’t acceptable. Why list the property there if they don’t accept the price? They also refuse to speak with customer care and leave you to deal with the problem yourself. With blood on the linen, you’re paying to risk hepatitis. I wish I could give less than one star. There are 1000 places in jodhpur much better than this Guest house for the same price. I’d even tell people to sleep under the sky at bus stands or railway platforms instead. Stop cheating people.

The staff are very rude and don’t know how to treat guests. I also felt the management was making a fool of people. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. They don’t take responsibility for your security. If you go with your boyfriend or girlfriend, they ask lots of questions and demand more money without offering any security or responsibility.
