OYO 9620 Hotel Emza Residency

There’s no restaurant on site, but plenty of small eateries nearby, so finding food isn’t a problem. It’s a simple, no-frills place with just the basics. The rooms are affordable and spacious, and the large king bed was very comfortable. A family can stay here comfortably.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, the AC worked well, parking felt secure, and the staff were helpful and polite. The price was reasonable for what was offered. Unfortunately, a noisy group of unruly students were staying there too, and their racket continued well past midnight. The front desk couldn’t sort it out despite complaints. The large group also used up the hot water from the central solar geyser very early.

Breakfast was decent, though there wasn’t a choice, so you just had what was available. I didn’t try the Wi-Fi since I didn’t need it. The basics were all there: spacious rooms that were clean, dust-free, and comfortable, with working AC, spotless bathrooms, and a proper geyser. It was a pleasant stay.

There’s no room service, just a small tea shop around the corner. Still, it’s a nice enough place for a night or so on a small budget. The rooms are fairly new and spacious for the price, and the location works really well if you want to stay around Kakkanad.
