We chose this Pondicherry hotel for its location, the pool and how well it suited our trip, but the stay was awful for the high room rate. The pool was in such bad shape that we couldn't use it during our four days there. Room upkeep was poor too. When someone was sick, staff wouldn't clean the room, so we had to do it ourselves. Although the rooms were advertised as having AC, there were no remotes. We had to use the main switches every time we wanted to turn it on or off. They also took away our breakfast and didn't deliver several promised services. The staff and hospitality were very poor. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone visiting Pondicherry.

We paid a lot, but the pool we booked the hotel for couldn't be used at all during our stay. The room was very unclean, and staff remained careless even after we asked several times. A very disappointing stay and not worth the price.

We booked four nights for a family function, but the service and rooms were below standard. Despite asking more than once, nobody cleaned our room even once. The washroom ceiling was coming down, the doors wouldn't shut properly, and there wasn't an AC remote either.

Check-in was inconvenient from the start. The receptionist was rude and offered no real guidance, and no one helped with our luggage. Management should take this feedback seriously and address these problems for future guests. The service here is very, very bad. People shouldn't check in.

It's a handy spot if you want to be near Pondicherry University or the beach and away from town. The rooms were good, the price was decent, and the family room had extra space. The pool was nice too, and staff were helpful when we needed directions.
