Georjoys Hotels & Resorts

For the price, this is a really good deal. The rooms are clean, airy and spacious, and the staff are polite and helpful. The location is convenient but still peaceful. A bigger bathroom and a better view would have made the room nicer, and the hotel’s colour scheme felt a bit monotonous. There are some good restaurants nearby, though the planned on-site restaurant would be more convenient. Vythiri might be a better location overall, but Georjoys clearly wins on price. I’d recommend it and stay again.

The room was surprisingly neat and tidy, almost like a newly built place with no signs of having been used before. The capable manager welcomed us with a smile and a friendly handshake. Getting our room and key was quick, with no time wasted at reception.

We stayed at Georjoys Hotel in Kalpetta around Christmas last year. The lane is relatively calm and peaceful, even though the hotel is right in the heart of Kalpetta town. From booking through the whole stay, the staff were prompt and helpful. They even pleasantly surprised guests with Christmas gifts, a lovely extra. There’s no in-house restaurant, but the central location made it easy for us to order food on Zomato.

The location worked well for exploring, and the travel guide gave us some excellent tips on where to go. The whole place was clean and tidy, and the staff were incredibly helpful. We’d booked a non-AC room, but they offered us an AC upgrade for a little extra. They first quoted ₹300, and we agreed on ₹200, which felt well worth it for the comfort. Georjoys is a solid, reliable stay at a decent price. Highly recommend.
