The room was very clean and close to Chundale bus stop 🚏. Franklin looked after us and guided us on the places to visit. Thank you ☺️

I had a distressing stay and had to leave early, then report the host's behavior to Airbnb. The apartment was advertised as private, but turned out to be shared with strangers, something not disclosed in the listing or during booking. It was dirty, with visible stains on the sofa and bedding, and we found several lizards in the rooms. There was no caretaker or security. One evening, we came back to the shutter half-closed and felt trapped and unsafe. Toilet paper and drinking water were charged despite being listed as included. Parking was extremely cramped, and our vehicle was damaged in the tight space. When we raised these issues, the host was rude and dismissive, ending the conversation with a blatantly discriminatory comment: “There is no one more entitled than a North Indian.” It was deeply offensive and unprofessional. I sincerely hope Airbnb investigates the listing. I strongly advise against booking until then.

We were six people and spent two nights here on our Wayanad trip. The rooms were very clean and well maintained, almost like new, and the restrooms were good too. Hot water for showers worked well, which matters in that weather. Mr.Frank'D cruz was kind and helpful, and an assistant was available if needed. It's easy to reach from Chundale bus stop, just opposite the Meppadi road cut, and major tourist spots are within a 20 km radius. The place is budget friendly without compromising quality. Drinking water isn't provided, so bring your own.

Maple Oaks is right on the main road, so it was easy to get food and fruit whenever we wanted. The house was well maintained, and we had a pleasant stay. Thanks to Mr.Frank, the owner, for making our trip unforgettable.
