This is a budget-friendly hotel suitable for families, and the owner runs it himself without a third-party tie-up. I’d suggest contacting the hotel directly for a cheaper room. I booked through Agoda, paid, and got confirmation, but the owner refused to give me a room when I arrived. I spoke with Agoda, and they discussed it with the owner, but that didn’t help. I still haven’t received my refund. Online platforms charge more for the room, in my experience. The next day we got a room there because one was available.

The rooms aren’t good enough to stay in. About 30 percent of the items were broken, including the charging port and door handles.

It’s about 2kms from Kalpetta city, with normal room prices and decent rooms. There’s not much traffic noise like in the city, and the local bus stop is next to the hotel. Car parking is available. My ratings out of 5: cleanliness 3, staff nature 4, comfort 3. Overall 3.5.

Once we were moved into clean rooms, things were fine. Before that, we were given checkout rooms that were dirty and unclean, then told to use the dormitory for the time being. Check-in has issues, and hot water is only available for one or two hours in the morning, so arriving late makes it difficult to freshen up. We chose the DJ room, which wasn’t anything special and had been left untidy. By the end, our feet were covered in dirt. I have mixed feelings about the place.

The dormitory is spacious and very clean for both boys and girls, making this an affordable option for college trips. The staff were friendly, kind, and attentive to what we needed. It’s centrally located, so other tourist destinations are easy to reach, even though the place feels away from the town bustle. The fire camp was excellent, and the DJ hall was cool. Thanks to peters hill view residency for sweet memories of exotic wayanad. It’s the best place to stay in wayanad.
