The owner was welcoming and friendly, and the rooms were comfortable, clean, and well kept. I spent three days at this homestay and had a great time throughout. It was very good value for money. Five stars without hesitation, and I'd highly recommend it.
The room was just okay, and the toilet was only averagely clean, so I wasn't satisfied. The photos showed nicer, cleaner rooms and bathrooms than what I found in person. For one day, I don't think it was worth 1000 rupees. 500, 600 would be about all.
I only stayed for three hours and couldn't wait to leave. There was no hot water in the bathroom, just one plug point in the whole room, and the pillows were very old. I asked for drinking hot water and got it in a steel mug, with no cups provided. There weren't any toiletries either. I wouldn't recommend staying here.
We'd paid in advance and arrived at night, but when we raised our concerns the caretaker told us to leave if we didn't want to stay. He didn't listen and was very rude, then left and only came back at checkout the next day. The place was in terrible shape: no lights, no fans, a broken door lock, liquor bottles everywhere, a broken sofa, and a dirty smell in the beds and washrooms. Avoid this property. Don't waste your time or money.
The staff were very friendly and they also provide food, but the room cleaning wasn't very good. 😔
