The rooms were good quality, the service was very good, and the price was affordable. Outside the building there’s a really bad smell, so you can’t open the windows, though the room itself doesn’t smell. There’s also nowhere to dry your clothes.

What impressed me most was how responsibly the team handled a valuable electronic item I misplaced. They contacted me right away and arranged to return it by parcel, keeping me updated at each step and sharing screenshots before sending it. My thanks to everyone, especially Chitrajan, who personally took charge and made sure it reached me safely. The Manager and staff showed real integrity and care. I also found the location handy for shopping. The rooms were very neat and comfortable, breakfast was excellent, and the service was warm and professional throughout my pleasant stay at Nitheesh Residency.

I left feeling that the hotel put policy ahead of basic kindness, and I wouldn't recommend it. Maybe my view is shaped by what happened to us, but I believe moral values matter in genuine situations, even in business. We arrived at 11:30 PM after six hours of travel with my family. After check-in, I went to get our luggage from the car and realized, in the confusion, that we had left it at home. We had no reason to stay without it, so I asked to move the booking to the next day and go back for our things. The hotel refused, saying their policy didn't allow changes after check-in. This was just five minutes after checking in, and rooms were available the next day. I understand they were technically within their policy, but I expected some empathy when we were in trouble. In response to the owner's comment: I asked as soon as I realized the luggage was missing, before using the room, and the receptionist refused. I then paused to take my kids and family to the room so they wouldn't panic. We took about five minutes to work out what to do, and I came back to ask again about moving the booking. The receptionist repeated the policy. I asked gently and left without arguing when they said no. The whole back-and-forth took around 15 minutes, and I left immediately. I never challenged or tried to dominate the policy. If the hotel wants to improve its business, it should consider human values instead of defending the policy. I'm not contesting the policy; the owner's reply just shows the public the business motives once again.

A decent budget option, and you can walk to the temple from here. The rooms and bedding could use better cleaning.
