Please don't book this hotel. The building, parking, reception person, location, and room were all decent, but the bathroom was filthy. I called from my mobile because the room extension didn't work. A staff member came with a hand towel and used it to clean the commode. It was disgusting to watch, and made me wonder if that towel might be given to someone afterward. The bathing towel looked about 4-5 years old. When I asked for another, he said, “Take any one, they're all like that.” The bedsheet and quilt covers were terribly dirty too. I was there Sunday with my wife and infant, and it was a pathetic experience.
We booked rooms 106 and 107 with breakfast included, but there were problems from the start. The bedsheets were stained, and staff brushed it off by saying, “Permanent stains, they're fine.” The beds were hard as stone, the towels looked black and yellow with stains, and neither room's telephone worked. We arrived around 1 am and were assured the private parking wouldn't disturb us, after making clear we didn't want to be woken early to move the car. Still, staff banged on our door at 6:30 in the morning to get the keys and move it. We'd been told breakfast was available until 10:30, which was also written on the menu. When we asked at 10:20, they said it was no longer being served and told us to check the menu. After we pointed out the 10:30 time, they declined at first. Then, after getting irritated and saying they'd check if anything could be done, they offered only two of the six items, butter bread and aloo paratha. The paratha was thick with raw dough at the edges, and there was barely any butter on the bread. There was also a mix-up over whether breakfast was complimentary. The person we called at the number on Google said it was included, but when we went to pay, staff said it wasn't. The manager was extremely rude and raised his voice when I explained the phone call and said I could show the hotel's number in my son's recent calls. He told me to bring my son over because his shift had ended and he didn't have time. When they called the MD, who was apparently the person we'd spoken to the previous night, he denied saying breakfast was included and argued instead of calming things down. He also said nothing when I mentioned the manager's rudeness. We ended up paying. It felt like a scam, with promises of complimentary items to travelers looking for a room late at night being taken back later. Housekeeping disappeared after loading our luggage into the car, which staff had parked in a precarious position. The door was blocked by the side of a stall, bikes, and cardboard boxes. No staff helped clear it or guide us out, so we had to get help from the stall person, adding 15 minutes. To me, this was a traveler's trap. I'd urge others to look at similar 1-2 star reviews before booking.
A very good experience. The reception staff were especially helpful. I suggest giving this hotel's hospitality a try.
The staff were very polite, the food was great, and the hotel is really close to mata temple. We loved everything and would be happy to visit again.
We visited in November'25, a month ago. The rooms were spacious and good, and the friendly service staff made check-in easy. The location also worked well for visiting nearby places.
