I held my sister’s engagement at Broad bean Hotel, Kannur, and it was a phenomenal experience. The location is right in the heart of the city, with easy access to major roads and public transport. There was ample parking, and the food was delicious, with a good range of catering choices and nice presentation. The staff were attentive, courteous, and quick to respond. They went above and beyond to handle every detail. The halls were beautifully decorated, and the lush outdoor space added to the celebratory feel. Ramps and elevators made the hotel easy for everyone to get around. They also arranged decoration, sound systems, and accommodation for outstation guests, and helped with wedding planning and coordination. That made the whole process stress-free.

Breakfast was simple, vegetarian, and decent enough to start the day. It wasn’t fancy, so keep your expectations there in check. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and helpful throughout, and the spacious room and clean, well-maintained toilet made for a comfortable stay.

I attended a nooluketu ceremony here. The hall worked well for a small gathering, with around 50 people fitting in easily. It’s in the town centre, just behind kannur bus stand, and there’s ample parking. The ambience was good.

I spent a month at Broad Bean Hotel in Kannur, from 28th February to 28th March 2026, and felt at home thanks to the whole team. General Manager Mr. Vinod Kumar and his staff were professional but also super friendly. The House keeping Manager and their team were lovely, too. I can’t remember everyone’s names, but every team member, including the security guards, was kind and friendly. I’ll surely be back.

The staff deserve five stars for excellent service, especially Mr Babu. The hotel is quite new, with clean, neatly furnished rooms that are decent for the price. Maybe they could provide a face towel. It’s near the Bus Stand and Railway station, and even for a family stopover the location isn’t much of a bother.
