For our two-night visit, the room was very spacious and the service was really good, making this a decent choice for a quick stay. There’s a tea and coffee kettle, laundry, and car parking, and it’s easy for older people to get around. I expect a clean bathroom and roomy rooms at any hotel, with more amenities at higher categories. The stay was very pleasant.

Right by the railway station on the main road, this hotel is in a prime spot at the city centre. Beaches, shops, and restaurants are all within a 5-15 minute drive. The rooms are very nice and large, with basic amenities and a big balcony. Housekeeping staff were good, and there’s also an EV charger and large gated parking. I’d highly recommend this budget hotel in Kannur.

The complimentary breakfast was really tasty and added to our stay. We had a spacious, comfortable Residency AC room, and the overall service was satisfactory. Traffic from the main road was a little disturbing at night, though the hotel is conveniently placed near Kannur Railway Station, with transport and nearby areas easy to reach. Overall, Malabar Residency was a decent centrally located option for our visit to Kannur.
