State Beach Resort & Spa

The rooms had interesting interiors and the service was okay, but the beds especially could use basic upkeep. Breakfast was simple, so don’t expect anything fancy, and the à la carte prices felt a bit high. The location itself was good, though getting to the resort was tight, particularly in a larger vehicle. The watchman didn’t offer much help. We stayed for two nights and three days.

The staff made this peaceful, beautiful stay especially memorable. They looked after us from check-in through checkout, helped whenever we needed something, and greeted us warmly. Their attentive, friendly care made us feel at home and kept the trip easy and relaxing. We’d recommend Kannur Beach Resort to anyone after a serene getaway.

Mr. Bhagirath was a highlight of our stay at State Beach Boutique Resort and Spa, Kannur. He was kind, friendly, and made sure we were comfortable, giving the visit a personal, welcoming feel. The staff and service were excellent, and the food was good. Breakfast was included, fresh, satisfying, and well organised, and eating with the ocean in view was lovely. Our sea-facing room looked out at the water, and waking up to the waves was special. The property feels peaceful and elegant, with a calming mix of nature and comfort that would suit families, couples, or solo travellers. My one suggestion is to add more vegetarian choices. The views, rooms, and hospitality made it a very refreshing getaway, and I’d recommend it to visitors to Kannur. 🌊

We got in at 2h00am, and Hafiz was there to welcome us. He even arranged a taxi for us in the early hours. At the restaurant, Jilmil and Jamal took great care of us and made sure we had the food we needed. The room views were gorgeous and the service was incredible. If service and location are what you’re after, State Resort and Spa is a great choice.
