DNG The Grand Hotel

The food was a real highlight at our baby’s first birthday, fresh and delicious, and all our guests enjoyed it. I’d rate it 10/10. Shivani Sharma coordinated the arrangements carefully and calmly, which made the day stress-free and memorable for everyone. The décor and event management were excellent, and the courteous, responsive staff kept everything organized and on time from planning through to the event. D&G Grand exceeded our expectations. I’d recommend it for family gatherings, birthdays, and other celebrations.

The pub here is usually lively, and the food selection was generally good. I ate there for 12 consecutive days without any reactions. I stayed for 13 winter days in Kanpur, and the rooms were quite good, with cordial, polite staff. If you want to be near IIT without compromising on your stay, this is a very good option. One of the finest hotels in this part of Kanpur.

As veterans, we were especially grateful for the in-room dining. It saved us the worry of going out for meals, and Ms. Khusboo, Ms. Susmita, Ms Jayshree and Mr Akshay patiently helped us choose each meal. Ms Sabya also made our stay a pleasure, and the place was consistently neat and clean, with prompt, courteous service throughout. Our booking experience started well in Hyderabad, where Ms. Sabya handled the advance reservation warmly and put us at ease. On arrival, Mr. Himanshu checked us in with calm professionalism. We stayed at this Kanpur hotel from November 1st to November 8th and were very pleased with the experience, rating it 4.5 out of 5.

Manager Amit Kashyap told us we should have got the commitments in writing from management, when we asked about what had been promised. They shifted the blame to us instead of taking responsibility. The promises made during booking seemed designed to close the deal, then were denied later. That left us with no confidence in their professionalism, ethics, or accountability. The customer service was pathetic, and the management was misleading. Avoid DNG Grand if honesty and transparency matter to you.
