Hotel Singaar International

Breakfast had a good spread, including South Indian dishes, bread, and cornflakes. The other buffet and à la carte food was good too, but restaurant service dragged. Our view from the fifth floor and above was wonderful, though the hotel's modern exterior gives way to an old-looking interior, with dated door locks and bathroom fittings. Check-in took a long time despite our advance booking. We took an extra bed, but there was no cot and nowhere to put it with our luggage filling the floor, so it was no use. Service needs a lot of improvement. The hotel is currently managed by 16-17-year-old students from its hotel management school, and they provided basic items only when asked, including toilet paper, toothbrush, toothpaste, towels, pillows, and sheets. Water beyond the room allowance cost 10rs above Mrp.

The pool is tiny, and the benches, slides, and swings were dusty. The hotel also had poor lighting and felt scary at night. Service was very poor, water service wasn't available on time, and there weren't many staff. They weren't interactive and didn't seem to understand the situation properly. The food looked and tasted stale, and the selection was limited. I'm writing this at the request of staff who didn't seem friendly. I wouldn't recommend this place, since there are better options.

We had a horrible stay and left as soon as morning came. The room felt creepy, and there was what looked like a black figure on the bed. My friends and I got scared when we opened the door and ran off. The food was awful, they mixed Frootie with water and served it like juice, and the poori felt like dried cow dung. With so little light at night, the hotel felt even creepier. We waited for morning, then checked out immediately. Never visiting again.

The campus is great, and the staff were courteous. The hotel itself is old, and you can see that in the condition of the rooms. Better-maintained rooms would make the stay feel complete. I especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast, so I'm giving the overall hotel experience five stars. Thankyou.
