The quiet spot away from city noise was nice, and our room and bathroom had plenty of space for three. The food was good, hot water was available in the washroom, and caretaker Pawan was very helpful. But there was no view at all from room 107, and the bedside charging socket didn't work. The electric kettle was only brought after we asked, despite the listing saying it was provided. There was no electric blanket, just wool blankets, which were manageable in summer. We were three people, and instead of an extra bed there was a sofa bed.

After a long journey, the calm atmosphere and spacious rooms with lovely views made for a comfortable stay. Barula Hotel was clean and well maintained, and the food was tasty and hygienic. The staff were caring and professional, and their hospitality made a strong impression. I'd happily stay again.

The food was amazing, and the friendly staff were genuinely helpful. We found the rooms clean and comfortable, and the service was very nice. Good location too. A really good place to stay in Kargil.

The view of the mountains from this beautiful place was lovely. The food quality was a highlight, and the people were very good with service and hospitality. We loved it, it felt well worth the stay.

It's quiet and has a large parking area within the property. The service was good, and it's a good-value hotel when you get a favorable price. Just keep in mind it's not within walking distance of attractions or the main bazaar.
