The staff were helpful and easy to deal with throughout our visit, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed the food. Hotel Royal Gasho made our stay in Kargil very pleasant, and I’d recommend it to anyone coming here.

I can’t recommend this hotel while guest safety concerns like this go unanswered. One of my female friends was harassed by a staff member during our stay, leaving all of us feeling unsafe and deeply uncomfortable. We reported it to management straight away, but the response was dismissive or inadequate, and we didn’t get a satisfactory answer. A hotel should be a place where guests can rest comfortably, without having to face this kind of behavior. Management needs to take the incident seriously, provide proper training, and apply disciplinary measures. I hope they make guest safety a priority and ensure accountability.
