Konka Guest House

Evenings on the porch, with the stillness and starry skies around me, were a highlight. I also enjoyed the little swimming pond, a refreshing way to cool off after a hot day. The room was spotless and well equipped for a comfortable stay. Konka Guest House is clean, cozy and beautifully set against the peaceful backdrop of the Karoo. From arrival, I felt welcomed with genuine care. The hosts went out of their way to help, shared local tips and made me feel at home. It's a calm, scenic place with a lot of heart. Highly recommended if you want to unwind and reconnect with nature. I'll definitely come back.

Mansoor really helped me through a few problems on my trip to Leh, Ladakh, including mountain sickness and vehicle issues. He was kind and caring throughout, and his guidance for the next part of the journey made a huge difference. I had an amazing stay at Konka Guest House in Padum. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere was peaceful and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious each morning and a perfect start to the day. If you're visiting Padum and want a place that feels like home, with a host who genuinely cares, I highly recommend it.

1st May, 2025. Manzoor went out of his way to help us find the best possible route, and he also cooked the best rajma-chawal we've ever tasted. He's a fabulous chef and host. The room was warm, comfortable and clean, and this was the best homestay we stayed at. We highly recommend Manzoor and his lovely homestay, worth every penny. Sorry I took so long to post this.
