Hotel Triple Tree

A good budget hotel with clean rooms and good service from the staff, including Mr. Surjeet ji and chandan.

Triple Tree was good value for money. The room was comfortable and clean, and the whole team was responsive. They served breakfast on time, and it was very good. They also helped with little things, like arranging a local auto and lending an umbrella when it rained.

The bathroom was spacious, and the balcony was neat and clean, but there wasn't much else to like. The beds were dirty, the mattress had stains, ventilation was bad, and they didn't provide basics such as a kettle, soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, or comb. They showed us a room on the first floor, but after payment put us on the third, even though rooms were available on the first and second floors. There was no lift, and barking dogs at night disturbed me a lot. It's a crowded area with no proper parking. Two elderly people manage the property, and I think they need at least two or three younger staff. I felt bad asking the older people for service on the third floor because that climb isn't easy for them.

I needed a budget place for a short stay before leaving early in the morning, but this hotel wasn't worth it. Check-in was hectic because both reception uncles were drunk, so it didn't feel suitable for families. The bedsheets and pillow were dirty. There were seven or eight cockroaches in the room toilet, which the drunk uncle killed. He said there's no kitchen, so they don't keep mineral water, and the drinking water they gave wasn't RO water. They had switched the AC and geyser off at the main electrical room. There was no one at reception from 12 pm until 8 am, and the hotel entrance was locked, so I couldn't leave early. I understand the uncle had been drinking and overslept. Parking is outside at your own risk. The only positive is that it's near the highway. Tip: don't even try this hotel.
