The Hideaway Cottage

Chef Sanju and his team made the food a real highlight. They fed us four or five times a day, and in such a remote spot, I don’t think you could expect better. The villa itself was comfortable for its setting, though it wasn’t a super-luxury villa in the usual sense. It’s quiet, green, isolated, and surrounded by jungle. The last two kilometres of the approach road need a 4x4 or rear-wheel drive vehicle. No sedan or RWDs. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for peace in nature, but not to people expecting an ultra-luxury stay.
