Treebo SV Residency, Vellore

The rooms and common areas stayed very clean during my pleasant stay. Staff were attentive, and hygiene standards across the property were excellent.

The breakfast was a nice part of the stay, with tasty South Indian food, though the choices can be limited. The hotel has no in-house restaurant for lunch or dinner, so you'd need room service or nearby places such as Zaitoon or Hotel Anusuya. Treebo SV Residency is a budget-friendly, modern 3-star property in Katpadi, Vellore, particularly handy for VIT and Katpadi Junction, just over 1 km away. Rooms come in Standard and Deluxe categories, with contemporary decor, effective air conditioning, and well-kept bathrooms. Guests often praise the cleanliness and courteous, supportive staff, who respond quickly, including to late-night requests and arrangements for local transport. It's a good fit for business at VIT, but central spots like Vellore Fort and CMC Hospital are about 7-8 km away. Rooms facing the main road can get traffic noise, so light sleepers may want to ask for one at the rear. For a short one- or two-night stay, it offers good value and a more professional, consistent experience than local lodges, making it a reliable option for families and solo travelers.

The rooms are neat, but don't expect much beyond that, especially if you're staying with kids. The bed is much smaller and the bathroom is very small too. Treebo Kingsbury Fiesta is far better by comparison, with facilities more like a 3-star hotel. Try Kingsbury Fiesta instead.
