At Jagdish Residency, even getting someone to answer the reception phone took three or four calls. Room service was similar, and we had to remind them two or three times after asking. The room itself was unhygienic, with hair on the bed and stains on the blankets. The service was pathetic and the whole stay was very bad.
The staff were awful and there was no cleaning service. Our room had rats, the sheets were torn, the mattress was in poor shape, and the doors were in bad condition. There was no electricity or warm water, and the geyser didn’t work. They didn’t provide basic toiletries or even a water bottle. Worst stay.
We were charged more than the actual amount, and the receptionist ignored our requests. The room had damp walls and ceiling, cockroaches, and a damaged washroom window that didn’t feel safe. We weren’t given a dental kit or toiletries, and the cab arrangements weren’t managed properly. The shop used as the yatra pickup and drop point was another bad part. The staff there were rude, unhelpful, and full of attitude. We were tired and waiting for the hotel driver, as discussed the day before, but when we asked for help contacting him, the staff misbehaved and told us to stay away from the shop. They even threatened us not to come back. We told the hotel what happened, but they took no action against the staff at that pickup point. It was a terrible experience, especially for a place like this. I wouldn’t recommend the hotel to anyone.
The water and electricity in the room were both very poor, and the room condition, service, and staff behaviour were bad too. I booked on 16/04/2026 after they promised transport, but they never provided it. After checkout I asked for help booking a cab, and they demanded and took Rs 500 commission. The owner is a commission taker too.
I booked through make my trip, but don’t trust the make my trip reviews. The room was a mess when we arrived, covered in hair, with a sindoor stain on the mattress. The toilet seat was dirty too, and the bathroom geyser was broken and rusted inside. The staff were rude and inexperienced, and the whole place felt disrespectful to guests. We had booked a suite, but its lights didn’t work, so they moved us to another room and didn’t even pay us back. There are plenty of reasons for this bad review. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all. A very bad experience.
