The managers' behavior was poor, and the room had several problems: the TV didn't work and the AC barely did anything. The hotel is near the station but far from the main market, too far to walk for shopping or food, and outside food wasn't allowed. They sometimes promise one thing and issue a non-GST bill. Room rates seem to depend on how well you bargain. They offer rides to Ban Ganga and back, but those can be delayed when a vehicle isn't available.

My stay at Vijay international in Katra was a terrible experience, and I want my money refunded. OYO's check-in service was poor, and the reception staff were rude and wouldn't listen to my problems. After the power went out, there was no generator service. None of the fans worked, and all the regulators were broken. I paid extra for AC after requesting it, but that didn't work either. I had booked April 8 to April 10, but checked in at 4 a.m. on April 9 and checked out at 1 a.m. on April 10. They still charged me extra for AC and didn't take into account how short my stay was. Please refund at least one day if possible, and make this public.

The staff were cooperative, and it was easy to reach, with wide roads all around. Very nice and clean, excellent in every way.

The manager was cooperative and found us a suitable room to rest, but I didn't have a good time here. The rooms are small, and the hotel entrance is muddy, so vehicles can't cross that stretch. Be ready to carry your luggage from the taxi to the hotel. This is mainly a stopover for Vaishno Devi darshan. It's linked with OYO, but don't expect much beyond a bed and a place to stay. Its only real advantage is being near Katra. The reception area is okay. Anyway, let's focus on the darshan, Jai Mata Di!

The rooms were clean, and the staff were very helpful. The hotel can arrange pickup and drop-off at the station, and a cab to the Ban Ganga checkpost costs ₹200. Its Google Maps location is incorrect: the hotel isn't right in front of the station. When you leave the station, it's 300-400m away on the left.
