I’m writing to complain about my recent booking and stay at your Katra property. I first reserved through Booking.com, then went to the hotel and booked directly because I wanted to avoid any last-minute room availability problems. The room we were given had only a geyser and no other amenities. Despite asking ahead, there was no pickup or drop-off service. When we reached Katra, we called about a pickup at the exit gate, but the staff couldn’t give us a clear answer or help. We paid an auto driver extra and made our own way to the hotel. The hotel cab driver showed up at the pickup point only after we had already checked in. What bothered me most was that nobody acknowledged the inconvenience or apologized. The way it was handled lacked professionalism, empathy, and accountability. It was frustrating as a visitor and took away from the purpose of the trip. In a pilgrimage destination like Katra, service providers should be transparent and meet basic hospitality standards, with customer satisfaction in mind. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and helps improve service for future guests.

The standout moment came after checkout. I’d accidentally left my spectacles in the room, and the manager took responsibility, packed them carefully, and arranged delivery to my home address. He kept following up, which showed real care and accountability. During the stay, the Divine Oak Hotel team were courteous and available whenever needed. Check-in and checkout both went smoothly, and everything felt comfortable. Their support continued even after I left, and the service was brilliant. Thanks to Divine Oak Hotel and the whole team for a memorable experience. I highly recommend it for comfort, professionalism, and hospitality.

Right in Katra’s main market, Divine Oak Hotel made it easy to get around. It’s budget-friendly too. The staff were friendly and helpful, and their 24/7 service impressed me. My room was very nice, clean, and well maintained. I had a wonderful stay and would recommend it to anyone visiting Katra.

The trouble started when Divine Oak Hotel refused to refund us. I’d seen its good Google Maps ratings, called to ask for room photos, and the pictures looked neat and tidy, so I paid in advance and booked. When we arrived on the check-in date, the room wasn’t up to the mark. We asked the receptionist to return our booking amount, and they promised the refund would arrive within 24 to 48 hours. We then stayed at the adjacent Vishal hotel, which was much better. Based on this, I suggest never booking this hotel with advance payment online.
