Hotel Lotus Regency by OYO Rooms

The price was bearable, and the hotel is well maintained and right in the heart of the city, close to the shops and other things you need. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Mr. Mallaya (Manager) was especially warm and down to earth. Thank you for a pleasant stay. 😊

After booking through oyo, we arrived and were told there were no rooms, that it was oyo’s fault, and that we had to pay more. We had called the manager beforehand to check the booking and were told everything was fine. At the hotel they denied getting our calls, even though we checked the number displayed there and called it, and the manager’s phone rang while he talked about something else. I don’t recommend this hotel. I think it may have another Google Maps listing as green way residency, with similar complaints and worse reviews, and that Lotus and green way might be the same hotel. Please look at that listing and its reviews near this one.

I booked through oyo and was asked to pay more. The staff were rude, and I had a very disappointing experience. I wouldn’t suggest it for families or couples. The hotel is upstairs and felt like a godown, and the lift was disgusting and tiny, with room for at most two people. Don’t trust the photos, the reception didn’t look like the one pictured. I was confused about this place, why it has a license and why oyo promotes it. To me it felt like a local lodge, not a hotel.

Really awful experience. The service was bad and the staff weren’t customer friendly. The room and bathroom weren’t very clean either. Their extra bed was basically a sheet-like thing on the floor, which was just ugly. I’d never go back. Platform is far better. No stars for this place.
