The rooms were pretty decent, but there was no hot water for bathing. They also ask for ID from everyone staying, even small children, while most lodges only ask for one person's ID. I don't understand why they need that many documents. With the property being in such a small town, they could lower the price.
Breakfast was nice, though they arrange it from outside rather than prepare it themselves. The rooms have AC and good hot water. If you're staying here, bring an address proof for yourself and the other people with you, such as an Aadhaar card or a scanned or photocopied license.
The hotel is reasonably priced and close to cherai beach. The rooms and interiors need cleaning, the bed sheets are old and not clean enough, and the staff's behavior could be better. There aren't any good restaurants nearby, and there's no fridge. For bachelors on a budget, it could still be a place to spend some time.

The rooms are good, and I'd choose an AC one over a normal room. It's a decent place to stay, though it isn't quite a home stay. Cherai beach is about one km away, and there's a small nearby hotel with delicious Kerala breakfast.
