We planned to stay four days and ended up here for almost three weeks. The hosts are a kind, welcoming couple, and the rooms are clean. I found the balcony swing really peaceful. It's affordable, and they can make tasty breakfasts at home if you want one. The backwaters are an easy walk away, and catching a bus to Fort Kochi from here is simple. I'd definitely recommend staying.

The hosts made me feel at home as soon as I arrived at Palakal Homestay. They were always around to help with requests and gave useful tips for exploring the area, which made the stay memorable. My room was spacious and had the comforts and amenities I needed. Everything was in excellent condition, and it was clear the hosts had paid attention to the details. I also really enjoyed the home-cooked meals. I had a peaceful, authentic stay at Palakal Homestay and would recommend it to solo travelers, couples, or families. It left me with lasting memories.

I stayed for a month and would happily come back. Uncle Aunty, who own the property, were kind and helpful. Breakfast was included, Wi-Fi was available, and Brownie is a super cute dog. 💛 It's a beautiful homestay close to nature. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the shared areas and washrooms were well kept. It's about 10-11 km from Fort Kochi, but transport is easy to find. One of the best places to stay in Kochi. Recommended. 🌼

Mr Antony and Mam were wonderfully hospitable, and the breakfast was lovely. It felt like a home away from home!
